Golf -Stretch

For better flexibility while playing golf its important to target the 5 key areas that provide the cornerstones for mobility, stability and overall flexibility.

They Are;

  • Ankle Joint
  • Hip Joint
  • Thoracic Spine
  • Shoulder Joint
  • Wrist Joint

The easier it is to move you hips and upper body translates to less strain on your joints and muscles. Which means a better golf game and less discomfort the next day.

In this photo the client got more thoracic rotation which brought his shoulders around a few more degrees resulting in a further back swing just by increasing foot proprioception. This took less then 5 minutes without stretching the upper body.

In this photo the client achieved better hip extension and rotation resulting in less lower back strain. Once again this was achieved in less then 5 minutes by doing foot exercises to increase foot proprioception.

In this photo you can see better hip extension as well and better follow through with the shoulders. Again there is less strain on the lower back and shoulders. Results were achieved by increasing ankle mobility in less then 5 minutes.

In this photo you can see a more balanced position between the feet, more thoracic rotation which allows for a better back swing. Results were achieved by increasing ankle mobility as well in less then 5 minutes.

Side by side comparison of back swing and at point of contact. This was achieved in 1 session, 95% reduction of lower back pain, dramatically faster swing. The next day client reported complete freedom from hand tightness & pain and played best game of golf in over a year. 

Some days after playing a round of golf you just need to come in for a quick recovery session to feel refreshed and ready to go for round 2 by tomorrow.

In this photo you can see better rotation in the upper and lower body. Weight is more evenly distributed between feet and the clients swing speed increased enough to created that whoosh sound. Again this was achieved in a single 55 minute session.
